Turn signal self-cancel recall, 24V-239moderate
A compliance recall specific to the 2022. In Chrysler's words, 'the turn signal self-canceling feature may not function properly,' which means these vehicles 'fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment.' A signal that keeps flashing after the turn is finished stops being a signal, which is why it is a safety campaign rather than an annoyance. Dealers inspect and, if needed, replace the steering column control module, free. Owner notification letters were mailed 8 August 2024 under Chrysler code 24B. Easy to test yourself: signal, turn, and see whether it cancels on its own.
