What VinCanary is

VinCanary publishes free reliability reports for used cars, one model year at a time. Each report is built from federal complaint and recall data (NHTSA), manufacturer service bulletins and warranty programs, and what independent mechanics and owners actually report — including full video-transcript analysis.

Reports are free, with no email wall. If you’re watching a year or a specific VIN, we offer alerts when something changes — that’s how we keep the lights on.
